WHAT HAPPENED?
Adobe released an update to Adobe Creative Cloud (version 3.5.0.206) that may incorrectly delete files on Mac OS X devices.

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
The update was released on Thursday, February 11, 2016.  Adobe pulled the update on Friday, February 12, 2016.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
Upon signing in to the Creative Cloud service with the faulty version installed, a script activated by Creative Cloud would delete the contents in the first folder alphabetically in a Mac's root directory.  Adobe is investigating why the update triggered the issue.

WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Anyone using Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac version 3.5.0.206.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users with the faulty version should avoid logging into the Adobe Creative Cloud application.  Adobe has released an updated version (3.5.1.209) to correct the issue.  Affected users can download it directly from http://ccmdls.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/KCCC/1/osx10/CreativeCloudInstaller.dmg.  All others should be prompted to update and can install the newest version via normal means.

HAS THE ISSUE BEEN RESOLVED?
