Malwarebytes Malformed Definition Update Blocking Network Access
WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Some users may be unable to access the network.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
January 27, 2018, and ongoing.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) client installed on many computers received a malformed definition update on January 27, 2018 that causes the MBAM client to block internet access. More information can be found at the following sites.
