WHAT’S HAPPENING?
OIT Network Services will upgrade the code of the core campus router and will upgrade the links from 10G to 40G, affecting network connectivity to campus network services.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
The maintenance is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2016, from 4:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To improve campus network speeds and to upgrade the router software.  This was originally planned to be part of the Saturday, March 19, 2016 maintenance [https://support.cc.gatech.edu/alerts/campus-network-scheduled-maintenance-0], but was rescheduled to avoid potential service conflicts.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Anyone attempting to access campus network services.  Network connectivity will be affected for multiple campus services throughout the maintenance window including, but not limited to, the services listed below.

Affected services:
LAWN
T-square
Office365
lists.gatech.edu
software.oit.gatech.edu
reports.gatech.edu
Banner
Pharos print release stations
Buzzport
