UPDATE:

OIT traced the network issues to issues within the firewall infrastructure.  They moved up scheduled maintenance to activate a redundant firewall module, which resolved the issue by approximately 3:00 PM, 10/13/2014.

Beginning at approximately 12:22, Monday, October 13 OIT began observing possible network problems.

Ongoing since 12:22 PM, Monday, October 13.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

OIT is currently investigating a cause.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

On-campus users of various campus services.  It does not seem to be affecting external connectivity.

Affected services:

Various on-campus network services.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

No user action is required.  Please be patient while OIT investigates the issue.  This notice will be updated as more information is available.
