WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Some machines on the 1st floor of the CCB will be intermittently without networking.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM, Friday, October 5, 2012.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
One of the networking switches on the first floor of the CCB will be rebooted to address connectivity issues.  If this does not resolve the issue, the switch will have its code upgraded.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the following systems:

Affected systems:
Baird Lab computers
CCB 1N Mopier
wired LAWN users in CCB Commons


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should save their work prior to the maintenance and be prepared for service interruption during the maintenance period.  Some affected users may need to reboot their workstations if their home directories do not successfully remount following the maintenance.
