GT Facilities has scheduled maintenance on the Holland Chilled Water plant to begin at 7:30 AM on Monday, December 15, and be completed by 7:30 AM on Monday, December 22, 2008. They will switch the CCB over to the 10th Street Chilled Water plant at 7:30 AM, December 15. Facilities and TSO will be onsite to ensure that the CCB Data Center maintains cooling. If it does not, Facilities will switch the building back to the Holland plant and postpone the maintenance for a later date. TSO may be required to power off some servers to maintain a safe operating temperature for critical services. If Facilities is unable to correct the temperature in an acceptable amount of time, TSO may have to take more drastic measures by shutting off some critical services. If this occurs, we will send notices as to what systems and services will be shutoff.
