The research collaboration server churchlady.cc.gatech.edu was unavailable, affecting SVN, wikis, swikis, and Drupal web sites.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
At approximately 12:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2010, the server became unavailable, and it was restored around 12:00 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2010.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The server suffered a disk failure that caused RAID array corruption which required file systems to be reloaded from backup tapes.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
SVN users of http://svn.cc.gatech.edu/ will need to reapply any repo changes made between 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2010, and 12:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2010.
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes. The drive has been replaced, the system RAID has been rebuilt, and the affected data has been reloaded from tape.
