WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
A potentially compromised research system was transferring large amounts of data, which overwhelmed the CoC firewall equipment.
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Internal and external users of the CoC network, web services, etc. experienced periods with loss of network access or slowness.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes. The research system was identified and blocked from the network.
