The CoC network will pause.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Wednesday, November 7, 2012, between 7:00 AM and 7:05 AM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
TSO will upgrade the CCB router's uplink to 10 Gigabit.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
The network is expected to pause for 30-60 seconds, which should not affect existing sessions, so no users should be affected.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.  If the pause is longer than expected, some users may be disconnected and need to reconnect their sessions following the maintenance.

UPDATE:
The upgrade went smoothly.  However, following the upgrade, TSO noted intermittent packet loss on the network.  The problem was traced to a research project's fiber network analyzer.  It was reconfigured, and services were returned to normal operations at 8:15 AM, November 7, 2012.
