WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Between approximately 10:15 AM and 10:35 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2016.

 
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
The Mercury system encountered a fatal PHP error that hung Apache on the web server scouter.cc.gatech.edu.

 
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Anyone attempting to access one of the affected sites during the outage.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.

 
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  TSO rebooted Apache on scouter, and the affected websites were again available by 10:35 AM, October 6, 2016.
