WHAT'S HAPPENING?
The primary database server hosting the PeopleSoft HCM, TechWorks, and Kronos production services (BAST) will be unavailable.  Degreeworks.gatech.edu will be unavailable.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On Saturday, October 19, 2013, between 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Techworks/PeopleSoft: to facilitate migration to a new Linux environment.
DegreeWorks:  to refresh the production infrastructure.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
All users of DegreeWorks.  All users of services supported by HPROD databases will be impacted.  This includes but is not limited to the following:

Kronos Time management (Time-clocks will be available to collect time)
PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Benefit services
Reports.Gatech reports (using HPROD or KPROD)
TechWorks Employee Self Service


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.
