Dept.vpn.gatech.edu will be briefly offline.
 
 
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On Thursday, February 16, 2016, between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM.  Actual downtime is expected to be approximately five minutes.
 
 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
OIT will upgrade the departmental VPN appliances to the latest verified code to address bug fixes and security improvements.
 
 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty, staff, and students using dept.vpn.gatech.edu.  Any users of gtrc.vpn.gatech.edu, rbi.vpn.gatech.edu, and sbsg.vpn.gatech.edu will also be affected.
 
 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Existing VPN connections to dept.vpn.gatech.edu will need to be re-established following the maintenance.
