Update: The server was brought back up and was again providing services at approximately 6:40 AM on May 17. TSO is currently investigating the cause of the failure.

At approximately 5:40 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2008, the email server email.cc.gatech.edu (which also provides services as imap.cc.gatech.edu) became unresponsive. TSO staff were unable to ssh into the server and so are enroute to the CCB to investigate. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
