The CoC grad student home directory servers felix.cc.gatech.edu and oscar.cc.gatech.edu will be upgraded to support NFS v4.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Friday, January 24, 2014, between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To address file-locking issues some users have been experiencing.  This will also allow for greater filesystem throughput and an increase in the number of concurrent files that can be open.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC grad students.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required and no downtime is expected.
