WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
As part of OIT Network Services' standard monthly maintenance window, Network Services will be performing a series of software upgrades impacting the CoC Firewall Pair and on Campus Access-Layer Switches in CCB, parts of KACB, and TSRB.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Brief network disruptions may be experienced by campus networks during the firewall upgrades, but impact is typically minimal due to these firewall appliances being part of a High-Availability (HA) pair. Each switch outage typically lasts approximately 10-15 minutes.
Affected services: networking services, both wired and wireless
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. If you continue to experience networking issues following the maintenance window, try disconnecting from the network (wired or wireless), then reconnecting.
