TSO will update the blocked ports on the CoC firewalls.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On Wednesday, February 22, 2012, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To enhance the security posture of the College and to correspond with the ports that OIT blocks at the campus border. TSO will place these blocks at the College's border and between the outland subnets.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty and grad students utilizing the ports listed at http://faq.oit.gatech.edu/content/which-ports-are-blocked-inbound-border from on campus to access outland systems.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users will need to perform ssh tunneling.
