Update: The server suffered a catastrophic RAID failure. New hard drives were ordered and installed. The RAID array was rebuilt and the data was restored from backup. The server was brought back online at 1:03 PM on February 18, 2008.

Early this morning, a hardware failure occurred on the research server gomez.cc.gatech.edu. Due to the failure, the /net/ht104 file system is currently unavailable. Diagnostics are being run, and we should have more information available on Monday. We apologize for any inconvenience.
