Helsinki.cc.gatech.edu developed NFS client performance problems, resulting in very slow I/O disk writes (e.g. to one's home directory). Unfortunately, a reboot was necessary to resolve the problem. The server was rebooted at 6:30 PM and was back in service at 6:35 PM.
