WHAT?S HAPPENING?
TSO will push out the latest update to the LANDesk clients on all TSO-managed Windows desktop computers.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On Monday, March 29, 2010, at 6:00 PM. It will also be pushed out at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, to machines that were not available on Monday.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To gain access to the latest enhancements to the LANDesk software and to fully integrate with the upgraded LANDesk server.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the following:
? Faculty and staff desktop computers on the CC domain
? Research lab desktop computers on the CC domain
? Instructional lab desktop computers on the GTAD domain
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
This update will require a reboot following installation, so affected users should save their work, logout, and leave their desktop computers on before leaving for the day. After the update is complete, an affected desktop computer will reboot even if a user is logged in.
