WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Mail sent to mailman lists during yesterday's networking outage was delayed.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Mail sent between approximately 3:55pm and 5:30pm on 10/27/20 was affected. The mailman service was restarted at 11:30am on 10/28/20 and the queued messages were properly released and delivered.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Mail sent during yesterday's outage was queued but not properly released when the service came back online. Restarting the mailman service helped the queued messages finish processing and send out to recipients.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Mail sent to mailman lists during the outage. Mail sent before and after was unaffected.
