TSO will push out the latest McAfee ePO agent to all TSO-managed Windows desktop computers.
WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
On Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at 6:00 PM. It will also be pushed out at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 1, to machines that were not available on Wednesday.
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To move managed ePO clients to the ePO 4.5 server. The ePO 3.6 server has been deprecated.
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the following:
? Faculty and staff desktop computers on the CC domain
? Research lab desktop computers on the CC domain
? Instructional lab desktop computers on the GTAD domain
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
This update does not require a reboot following installation. However, it can conflict with some open programs, notably Outlook, so affected users should save their work, logout, and leave their desktop computers on before leaving for the day.
