OIT will enact stricter security requirements on their web hosting service by changing the Plesk application password requirements.

Beginning March 15, 2016.

 
WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To improve the security posture of the Institute.

 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
All users of OIT's web hosting service.

 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is immediately required. At the next required password update, Plesk application users must select a password that complies with the new password requirements of at least 16 characters utilizing lower- and upper-case letters, numbers, and special characters.
