Networking on the east side of campus and most of the wireless LAWN was offline.

Between approximately 9:00 AM and 9:40 AM, Thursday, August 30, 2012.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
One of the campus' routers, rich2-rtr, went offline.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Most wireless LAWN users as well as wired users in TSRB and C21U.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action should be required.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes.  OIT discovered and replaced a faulty blade in the router.
