WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Starting between 5:00 AM and 6:55 AM, Thursday, March 3, 2011.


WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
During OIT's scheduled patching of the GT Active Directory domain controllers, a patch was applied that caused Kerberized NFS mounts to fail under Linux systems using GTAD authentication.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
Users of the systems listed above.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Users were still able to login to the affected systems but were unable to mount their Prism home directories.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes. OIT made a settings change that corrected the issue by 12:25 PM, March 3, 2011.
