Four older UNIX research servers will be retired and permanently powered off on Thursday, March 6, 2008, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The email, files, and services on these older servers have been consolidated onto newer research servers.

- baobab.cc.gatech.edu (an old graduate desktop server)
- gvu2.cc.gatech.edu (GVU Group)
- newblue.cc.gatech.edu (Intelligent Systems Group)
- orsay.cc.gatech.edu (Ubiquitous Computing Group)

In addition, the server dirac.cc.gatech.edu will be down from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM for hardware maintenance.
