UPDATE - ccsamba service was restored as of 5:45PM, January 15th. 

WHAT’S HAPPENING?
The Faculty home directory server ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu is inaccessible via samba.

Affected servers:
holder.cc.gatech.edu

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
TSO first became aware of the issue 10:30am, January 13th, but believed the issue to be localized. 

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
TSO reconfigured the CC Active Directory authentication process on ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu. This fixed the ability for users to mount via samba.

WHO IS AFFECTED?
Any faculty member attempting to access their home directories by samba mounting ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu.

samba mounts on ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required. This notice will be updated if additional steps are needed.
