WHAT HAPPENED?

The school websites and support.cc were down due to issues following patching.

ic.gatech.edu
scs.gatech.edu
cse.gatech.edu
support.cc.gatech.edu

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?

The sites were offline following patching, 8/8/19. School sites were offline from 7am-8am, support.cc was offline from 7am-10am.

WHY DID IT HAPPEN?

Web services on the servers behind the school and support.cc sites did not come back as expected following this morning's Linux patching window. 

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Anyone attempting to access these sites during the outage.

No user action is required.
