Some users in the Tech Square Research Building (TSRB) are experiencing wired network issues following Friday's network maintenance - TSRB Data Closet switch maintenance

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Issues began following the network maintenance Friday, 8/13/21. TSO became aware of the issues around 9:30am, 8/16/21.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

As part of the TSRB network maintenance Friday, additional security features were enabled on the TSRB network switches that are causing problems with some computers. TSO is rolling back the security feature now, and will investigate why some computers were affected while others connected automatically following the maintenance.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Some users in TSRB on wired networking.
