WHAT'S HAPPENING?
Network outage for all CoC networks in TSRB, as well as wireless.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
A power outage affecting the 1st floor and ground level in TSRB occurred around 2:30pm on Sunday, July 26. Afterwards, the main College of Computing network switch did not come back online.


WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED?
Repairs will start at 6:00am on Monday and we hope to have them completed by 8:00am.  Depending on the severity of the switch failure, the work could take until 12:00pm.

 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Faculty, staff, and students in TSRB.  In addition, servers hosted in TSRB MDF are also affected.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Hold tight until we finish repairs.  If the outage extends past 8:00am, and you have an urgent need, please contact the helpdesk, and they will work with you to make arrangements.
