WHAT'S HAPPENING?
OIT will make changes to the campus VPN service and to the MyGaTech login page.


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
VPN:  Between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014.
MyGaTech:  At 7:00 AM, Tuesday, July 1, 2014.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
VPN:  To change how two-factor authorization role assignments are handled.
MyGaTech:  To align the visual theme with the new Georgia Tech web design currently published by Institute Communications and to allow new incoming students that may have Office 365 mailboxes to use the same login page.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
VPN:  No service outage is expected.
MyGaTech:  Users of the MyGaTech/Zimbra webmail service.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.  OIT has posted a FAQ regarding the MyGaTech login page at  http://faq.oit.gatech.edu/content/changes-georgia-tech-email-login-page
