TSO will reboot the CoC Cisco VPN, which will result in approximately 5 minutes of downtime for the VPN.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The CoC VPN was last rebooted over 1 year ago.  There is a software bug in the CoC's VPN that can cause login failures when the device has been online for more than 365 days, and TSO has received a login failure report. The recommended fix from Cisco is a reboot.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty, staff, and grad students attempting to use the VPN during this maintenance window.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
CoC VPN users should be prepared for interruption during the maintenance period. Following the maintenance, users will need to reconnect.
