WHAT HAPPENED?
Some CoC VPN users were unable to reach their CoC home directories.
WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?
Between approximately 4:30 PM, Friday, September 13, and 8:30 AM, Monday, September 16, 2013.
WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
Following an increase in the CoC's VPN IP address space, some UNIX host-based firewalls did not get updated with the new ranges.
WHO WAS AFFECTED?
CoC VPN users who established new VPN connections between Friday evening and Monday morning could have received an IP in the new ranges and would have been unable to reach their CoC home directories.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required.
HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
Yes, the ranges have been added to the host firewalls.
