WHY DID IT HAPPEN?
That's currently being investigated.


WHO WAS AFFECTED?
CoC faculty, staff, and student assistants who use adminfs or windepot file shares.  This also affects staff whose home directories reside on winhome.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is required at this time.


HAS THE PROBLEM BEEN RESOLVED?
No.

UPDATE:
Legion was returned to service at 8:50 AM, Friday, January 30, 2015.  One of its drives has failed, so legion's RAID array is operating in a degraded state and performance may be impacted.  TSO will replace the failed drive.  No further downtime is anticipated as it relates to the drive replacement.
