WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

To upgrade to the latest version for enhanced security.

WHO IS AFFECTED?

Any user of the GT github service.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

Be prepared for service outage during the maintenance window, as github.gatech.edu will be unavailable while the upgrade is in progress.
