WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
To apply critical security patches to guard against the WannaCry encryption worm.

 
WHO IS AFFECTED?
Users of the following services.

AdminFS file shares
Windepot file shares
Windows CC domain authentication
Windows DNS services
Windows Home Directories

 
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
Affected users should save their work prior to the maintenance period and be prepared for service interruption during the maintenance.

UPDATE: Emergency patching also needs to occur on the FileMaker Pro servers, ackerman.cc.gatech.edu and newackerman.cc.gatech.edu.  This will affect access to FileMaker Pro during the maintenance window.
