WHAT'S HAPPENING?
The CoC DNS servers will be replaced with newer hardware and software.  The affected servers are:

shipper.cc.gatech.edu
teleporter.cc.gatech.edu
timewand.cc.gatech.edu
transporter.cc.gatech.edu


WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?
Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 4:30 AM to 7:00 AM.


WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
The existing DNS servers are out of service with regard to hardware and software load.  The new servers will have updated hardware warranties and software loads.


WHO IS AFFECTED?
No user impact is expected because the servers exist as a redundant pair and only one will be offline at a time.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?
No user action is necessary.  Please be patient during the maintenance window.
