WHAT HAPPENED?

Users without an active connection were unable to mount their drives on ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu.

WHEN DID IT HAPPEN?

The first report came in on Monday June 23, 2025.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?

While investigating, it was discovered that a configuration file had incorrect DNS entries.  Once the correct AD DNS servers were added, connections resumed.

WHO WAS AFFECTED?

Faculty needing to establish new connections to ccsamba.cc.gatech.edu.  Cached credential users were still able to mount.
