At approximately 3:15 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, the CoC student file server blanche.cc.gatech.edu experienced a problem with its RAID array. This caused the hu1 and hu13 file systems to go offline. CoC student home directories in those file systems are currently unavailable. TSO is working on the array. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.

Update: The hu1 filesystem was brought back online at 9:30 PM, September 10. The hu13 filesystem remains offline.

Update: At approximately 2:00 PM, September 11, 2008, TSO became aware that the hu2 and hu3 filesystems have also gone offline. We are currently working to bring those back online.

Update: The filesystems hu2 and hu3 were brought back online at approximately 6:00 PM and 6:20 PM, respectively, on September 11. The hu13 filesystem is awaiting a replacement hard drive, expected to be delivered on September 12, and will be restored from backup after the hard drive is installed.

Update: The new drive was received and installed. As of 4:50 PM on September 12, the hu13 filesystem was being rebuilt.

Update: The hu13 filesystem was rebuilt and restored from backup. It was brought back online at 2:00 AM, Monday, September 15, 2008. At this time, all CoC Student home directories should be back online.
