Update: Contractors working on the CCB 2nd floor renovation inadvertently severed the switch's uplink. A temporary uplink has been installed, and the HPCF was again online as of 12:15 PM. Contractors are scheduled to run a replacement uplink later this week. An announcement will be made after the installation is complete for a short maintenance window to transition to the new uplink.

At approximately 10:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, the network switch for the HPCF went offline. As a result, the following filesystems are currently unavailable:

hj1, hj2, hj4, hj5, hp48, hp90, hp91, hp92, hp93, hp95, hp96, hp97, hp98

We are currently troubleshooting the issue. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
