On Wednesday, July 23, 2008, starting at 2:00 PM, TSO will upgrade the DNS server zeon.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.9.13) to new hardware. This upgrade is expected to be completed by 5:00 PM, July 23. During this maintenance period, DNS services on zeon will be unavailable. TSO hosts are configured to fail over to solaria.cc.gatech.edu (130.207.7.245) for DNS services, which will be operational during this maintenance period, so users should not notice any service degradation. No users should be affected unless they are pointed only to zeon for DNS services. Any services which are pointed only to zeon should also be set to point to solaria for DNS.
